Don’t however, share humor with a dragon.
I always feel wonderful after a good laugh. It doesn’t take much to make me laugh. Slapstick works, unless it’s way over the top, or overused. I’m a sucker for goofy faces. Ironical humor sometimes goes over my head. But whatever the variety, I never want people to stop trying to make me laugh. I think it’s the key to a long life. My dad was always laughing and being goofy, and he lived to be 95.
I think one of the other reasons he, his sister, and his father all lived well into their 90’s, was hard work. Hard work has always been a passion of mine, but particularly if it is an effort to do something for someone else.
I’m going to work hard this year to accomplish my creative goals. But in the end, whatever I create, will only fulfill my goal if it becomes something others can appreciate and enjoy.
Time to get back to work. After I read a few humorous picture books.
